Working with P&G through BLAC:
Iād like to first credit the team I had the great pleasure of working with.
During my time with the BLAC Internship Program, I had the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with P&G, one of the advertising giants in our industry. While I can't publicly showcase the product and brand we worked on, I'm happy to share the pitch deck we created behind the scenes with anyone curious.
My team and I put our best foot forward to brainstorm and craft a broad idea of our consumer base. After scouring data, considering online sources, and questioning those around us, it became evident who we were looking to speak to. We aimed to ensure that all potential users of the product felt invited and included in the accompanying advertising.
I learned a great deal from P&G reps about not locking myself into a specific niche or becoming biased when writing for others. Although you'll find my own writing throughout the pitch deck, I'm most proud of the 15-second video spot my group tasked me with writing. My goal was to create a situation and scene relatable to our consumer, incorporating a spontaneous feature to grab their attention and maximize engagement.
I was incredibly proud to present this project with my team, especially considering the circumstances where we had less than a week to brainstorm, draft, and finalize our work. I hope I'll be able to present it to whomever may be reading this as well.
